Free Throw Championship
The Knights at Cure sponsor the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship for boys and girls from the ages of 9 to 14 to provide an athletic outlet and encourage the values of sportsmanship and healthy competition. Kids compete within their own gender and age and progress from local level to district, regional and state/province competitions.
2023 District Competition
We hosted the District Free Throw Competition on Feb 19th.

2022 State Representation
This year we were blessed to have 4 kids from our local Championship to make it all the way to state!
Charlie Homsey was the first-place winner at state for 11-year-old boys, making 23 of 25 attempts.
Sam Deneke, was the second-place winner at state for 14-year-old boys, making 20 of 25 attempts.
Brody Renners was the third-place winner at state for 13-year-old boys, making 16 of 25 attempts.
Maura Maher, was our representative at state for 13-year-old girls.
Our four state representatives were invited to the councils April Council Meeting on 4/26/22 where they were presented with Certificates of Achievement and gift cards to Dick's Sporting Goods. Charlie Homsey and Brody Renners were able to attend.
