On June 16 - 20, 2008, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Cure' of Ars was turned into the site of Power Lab - Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power! Professor Kewldewd (Father Greg Hammes) and Professor Frank Incense (Seminarian Scott Wallisch) started off each day with a skit they prepared to entertain the children while introducing a biblical theme. The week ended with a magnificent performance by the children singing religious songs learned during the week. Vacation Bible Camp is for all children four years old through 4th grade, and is organized by Cure' of Ars Director of Religious Education Sister Julie Galan, Sisters of Saint Joseph of Concordia, and her assistant, Sandy Hawekotte.
