Second Annual Parish BBQ Contest Winners

				Here are the photos of the winners of the 2006 Holy Smokes. The Grand Champion was Where's the Smoke, and there were a lot of other winners in the meat categories. What's really important to those who count is the dessert category; judging was headed by Sister Julie Galan, with assistance by Nancy Walter and others. Marianne Queen took overall honors for best dessert. Laurie Rensovich had the best cheesecake. The best cookies were baked by Julie Nichols. Jenna Bergmann brought the best pie, and Betsy Kearney baked the best cake. Kudos to Father Kent O'Connor for announcing the meat winners, and Father Okoye for choosing the door prize winners.
