The Cure' of Ars parish community came together on Saturday, May 20, 2006, to vie for the title of Grand Champion smoker. There were 29 teams competing, with zany names like Girls with Grills, Up in Smoke, and Lost in the Sauce, but it was the Where's the Smoke team that took possession of the grand champion winner's bowling shirt from last year's winner, Slick Willy. Many thanks to the organizers, including the Bingaman and Meagher families, and volunteers for a fabulous parish activity. |
