Cure' of Ars Religious Education Class May Crowning Ceremony
May 1, 2005

On May 1, 2005, the Religious Education students, their parents, teachers, and parishioners joined together on the school commons to celebrate the crowning of Mary, traditionally conducted each year during the month of May. Musician and teacher Mrs. Tankard led the procession of students and teachers, singing hymns in honor of Mary. All gathered around the statue of Mary to recite prayers, led by Fr. Kent O'Connor, associate pastor of Cure' of Ars. Following the crowning, the students enjoyed a frozen treat and closed out another successful year in the Religious Education Program at Cure' of Ars.
