On June 17, 2007, Father's Day, the Cure' of Ars parish community joined with Father Greg Hammes in celebration of his first Mass celebrated at Cure' of Ars. Father Hammes is the parish's newly-assigned associate pastor. Father Hammes provided special recognition to his parents, from Seneca, Kansas, who were in attendance. Following the Mass, all gathered in the Father Burak room to congratulate Father Hammes on his recent ordination and to enjoy a delicious meal provided by the Mothers of Young Children.
