Cure' of Ars Religious Education First Communion Program

For the students in the Cure' of Ars Religious Education First Communion Class of 2005, one recent Sunday meant the creation of a personalized and unique statement of faith in their preparation to receive the Eucharist for the first time. Each of the children painted a clay cross, to be fired later in an area kiln and then displayed in the church foyer. The teacher of this class is Mrs. Nancy Walter, and she was joined by Allie, a Religious Education Progam educator, and Sister Julie Galan, Sisters of Saint Joseph of Concordia, the Director of Religious Education at Cure' of Ars.
