THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
Cure' of Ars Catholic Church

On March 8, 2006, the Most Reverend Joseph F. Naumann, D.D., Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas travelled to Cure' of Ars Catholic Church to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to 98 young men and women of the parish. Also present were Monsignor Charles McGlinn, pastor of Cure' of Ars, the associate pastor and priests, Sister Julie Galan, Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia, Cure' of Ars Director of Religious Education, Mrs. Marlene Rowe, school prinicipal, and the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard. Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster served as the coordinators of the Sacrament of Confirmation for the parish. Following the Mass, the newly confirmed enjoyed a reception in the school cafeteria.(Click on thumbnail to show full size photo.) |
