Cure' of Ars Memorial to the Unborn
Resurrection Cemetary, Lenexa, Kansas

				The Cure' of Ars Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Peace Council 9856, are the proud sponsors of the Memorial to the Unborn in Resurrection Cemetary, Lenexa, Kansas of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. The seven feet high granite memorial in Resurrection Cemetary at 83rd Street and Quivira Road was dedicated on Memorial Day, May 29, 2006 by Father Ken Kelly, Pastor of Saint Pius X parish in Mission, Kansas, and Chaplain for Catholic Cemetaries in the archdiocese. Following the outdoor Mass at the cemetary, the Fourth Degree Honor Guard of the Knights of Columbus led a procession of several hundred worshippers to the memorial site. Representing Council 9856 were past Grand Knight James Remer, present Grand Knight Donald Meiners, and newly elected Grand Knight Steven Byrne. A guest of honor was Mary Kay Culp, State Director of Kansans for Life, and sister of council member Tom Blando. Thanks to all of the supporters who made this project possible.
